Our local roller girl league, the Burning River Roller Girls, have their annual fall charity bout, “Black and Blue 7″ today at the Ohio Nets Sports Center in Parma. This year, the league will be donating a portion of every ticket sale to Beech Brook, a Northeast Ohio agency designed to provide prevention, intervention and treatment programs for some of the area’s most vulnerable children, teens and families. For more than 160 years, Beech Brook has been providing services ranging from mentoring and counseling to fostering and adoption.
