Who do you feel would benefit most from your presentation?
Anyone who wants to stay informed about their government and other institutions or dislikes corruption and similar problems will benefit from my presentation. Those interested in leaking, disclosure, whistleblowing, transparency, and free information may be particularly interested in my presentation.
Why do you believe your topic is important and/or interesting to Notacon participants?
Leaking and disclosure have been major topics of interest and discussion in the hacker community for the past few years and free information is a basic tenet. The topic is also perfect for Notacon because it goes beyond infosec and even tech to understand how people can and are hacking governments, other institutions, and the news to improve them and correct problems. Ideally though, anyone would be interested in this topic because it deals with issues that involve everyone.
What about participating in Notacon attracted you the most?
Notacon is a hacker conference with a really interesting focus. I also haven’t been to Notacon before and it seems like a fun event.
